If this darling hand cream packaging doesn’t get you in the holiday spirit, I’m not sure what will. For the holiday season, Weleda North America turned to BRIGADE to help create a line of limited edition hand cream packaging.
Weleda, a worldwide skincare company founded in Switzerland in 1921, is dedicated to harnessing the healing power of natural ingredients and processes in their products. Weleda uses ingredients grown in their own gardens and have a membership in the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT). As Europe’s most loved natural skincare company, BRIGADE was tasked with helping Weleda stand out on the shelves in the US. The result is festive, colorful, and delightfully whimsical.
“BRIGADE saw this holiday packaging assignment as an exciting opportunity to add some ornament to Weleda’s classically spare aesthetic. We developed a whimsical, romantic look and feel to reflect the organic nature of the product. The result is a sparkling homage to winter scenery, filled with beautiful cold-weather flora like juniper and pine, and majestic animals like snowbirds and deer. The intricate line drawings on watercolor felt like the perfect intersection of vintage and contemporary, echoing the signature Weleda multi-ringed logo in a subtle, understated way. When lined up together as a family, snow drifts stretch across all the packages, tying them together visually to create a display as eye-catching as it is gift-worthy.”
