Before & After: Better Together

“When Todd & Kestra Kelly quit their day jobs to follow their love of baking, the Better Together brand was born. Founded on the belief that using high-quality ingredients without preservatives is the cornerstone of better baked goods, they set out to elevate a classic American treat. While they achieved success in baking great brownies, their initial launch packaging wasn’t reflective of the high quality on the inside. Better Together came to Chase Design Group to redesign their brand and give them the tools needed to attain broader distribution.”

“Because Better Together brownies have such unique flavor combinations, hand-drawn patterns and illustrations were crafted to highlight their key ingredients. Flavor-specific color palettes on the display boxes create visual impact, while consistent layout builds a strong brand block at shelf. Typographic and graphic elements were specifically designed to balance classic bakery cues with contemporary style. As a final touch, the “Heartpersand” icon reinforces the love baked into every brownie, and serves as a reminder that some things are simply better together.”
