Watch out, Pantone. Benjamin Moore says your days are numbered as the great color Nostradamus.

Late last week, while our heads were getting sufficiently rocked with AI news and updates at Adobe MAX 2023, paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore unleashed its Color of the Year for 2024—Blue Nova 825. The hue blends blue and violet and is said to be inspired by the formation of a new star in space, and it “beckons us to unknown places in search of new experiences.”

Mostly, it just makes me sleepy, but in a good way. The twilight-ish shade feels right at home with end-of-the-day porch beers and has a cooling, dreamy aura.
