Wild Turkey 101 Takes Flight In Major Brand Refresh From Pearlfisher

Published

Tracing its history back to 1855, Wild Turkey earned its moniker when a distributor shared a sample of bourbon with his friends on a hunting trip for the eponymous prey. Today, the Kentucky brand is synonymous with smooth, quality bourbon distilled using time-honored processes, including a decades-old and exclusive yeast. Wild Turkey’s master distiller Jimmy Russell, nicknamed the “Buddha of Bourbon,” has been crafting 101 for over 60 years and is the most tenured active master distiller in the world.

While keeping the spirit and taste profile consistent is a challenge for any brand, the occasional change-up for the bottle itself is always necessary in keeping with the times.
