Golden typography almost always makes a regal statement, but when the golden hues are paired with a handwritten-inspired typeface, the result is eye-catching. Designed by The Spice Agency, King’s Fortune Barossa wine’s packaging is simple yet stunning. The black label and painted font pair together to create a design that’s bold and well crafted.

Spice was tasked to create a modern wine brand that heroes the Region, speaks to the flavour through design but still encapsulates a nod to the traditional. From a predominant design focus we looked at a contemporary design as opposed to traditional designs usually seen with a Barossa Shiraz. We followed a design territory that spoke to an overarching focus on the style of the wine; rich, lush, juicy, inky, bold, dark, sumptuous, delicious, succulent & Opulent. With the use of a clever high build a brush stroke effect was given to the typography, giving it a modern premium twist and strong shelf shoutout.
