If there’s one thing the internet loves, it’s a hack.
People are squeezing carrot juice for “retinol,” eating sardines for an omega-3-induced glow, and debating whether drinking collagen water does more for their skin than applying a serum. The hashtag #eatyourskincare has absolutely overwhelmed TikTok algorithms. It’s about optimizing your diet to do more for you than simply fuel you, and what it really signals, at least within the CPG space, is a ripe business opportunity for disruption.
The “eat your skincare” rhetoric has evolved from potential virality for creators to how consumers think about beauty, wellness, and what they put in (not just on) their bodies.
