Veronica Fuerte founded Hey Studio to create design on her own terms.

“After completing my university studies, I worked for six years in various studios in Barcelona,” Fuerte said. “I always felt the need to express my style and approach to things, so I founded Hey to express all these ideas I couldn’t while working for others.” As a child, she would attend art classes after school, and it offered her the chance to dream up and create the things she wanted to get onto paper or the screen.

Even then, she knew she wanted to pursue something that drew on her own innate creativity. But her parents were also entrepreneurs in their own right, so that mindset was instilled in her early on. “It influenced my decision to take the initiative to create something for myself and take risks,” she added.
