

Equil Smartpen‘s packaging was designed by Astro Studios with clarity in mind. The use of a transparent case allows the product to be featured upfront. The packaging was designed to frame the innovative product that is meant to shift how we note-take from now on.
“Equil came from the desire to introduce a new product to the western market that allows you to seamlessly digitize your notes from any kind of paper to a cloud based ecosystem of apps working across all Apple devices. PNF (Pen And Free) came to us with an idea tested in the Korean market and asked us to define a new brand, identity, system and packaging for a product with the goal to launch at every Apple store globally. The brand needed to be striking yet approachable as well as showcasing the transition from analog input of a pen into the digital translation that the Equil product delivers on.
Once the brand was created we defined a responsive brochure website focusing on video as the main element of awareness with a seamless e-commerce component built-in.
