Designalytics’ 2025 Effectiveness Award Winners Announced

Published

Late last month, Market research firm Designalytics announced the winners of its 2025 Effectiveness Awards.

Most design awards are often driven by aesthetics, because, hey, who doesn’t love pretty design? However, pretty might not actually perform on the shelf. Designalytics’ picks are entirely data-driven, based on brand growth and rigorous quantitative consumer testing. The seven winners (with the overall winner announced at DIELINE Awards last year) were selected from hundreds of redesigns launched between July 2022 and September 2024 and showcase how, even with different strategic priorities, each brand achieved tangible growth through data-driven redesigns.

There are several major takeaways from the crop of winners, including the importance of respecting the brand’s essence, testing to learn rather than to validate, the role of clever craft in consumer education, and prioritizing the most critical information rather than trying to communicate everything all at once. Ultimately, the Effectiveness Award winners show how to balance function-first communication with a cohesive design system.
