Cavort Like the Greeks with the Goddess-Inspired Ores Aperitif

Published

Who knew how to indulge like the Greeks? In this opulent era, creatives are having a ball (or should we say bacchanal?) referencing the classics, a trend we first noted in our Report for 2023. Mediterranean designers are having especially fabulous results with goddess worship as of late: while we just put a spotlight on gorgeous Italian rice packaging inspired by Hera, the latest mythological stunner is a Greek studio’s ode to the goddesses of the seasons.

Manos Siganos honors the titular Ores, or Horae, with the design for Ores Apertif, featuring sharp illustrations of Thallo, Auxo, and Carpo beneath a gold foil sun shiny enough to awaken your inner magpie. Embossing adds undeniable tactile appeal to the wordmark, and an extremely classy glass stopper makes it hard to imagine getting rid of this lovingly crafted bottle. What better way to honor harvest goddesses than to eat, drink, and be merry?
