Rushil Bhatnagar’s packaging design for Burma Burma’s Burmese Essentials pays homage to the rich culture and flavors of Burma. Inspired by the art form of Pan Yun, celebrated by Burmese artisans, the packaging showcases intricate line work and ornamentations, reminiscent of lacquerware objects. Each essential product is represented with core ingredients at the center, accompanied by bold typography and Burmese translations. The use of vibrant colors, drawn from Burma’s architecture and traditional attire, adds a burst of culture to the packaging, with ingredients highlighted in black to emphasize the family recipes behind them. To make home-cooked meals more enjoyable, the packaging includes easy-to-follow recipes on the back, with serving sizes and cooking times.

Started in 2014, Burma Burma Restaurant began on a journey to introduce Burmese cuisine & lifestyle to India. Ever since then, each dish at the restaurant is inspired from the roots of Ankit Gupta ( Co-Founder ) & his mother who were brought up in Myanmar, where they enjoyed the abundance of condiments and spices. To make flavours of Burma accessible across each part of India, the restaurant introduces Burmese Essentials to experience the taste of the restaurant dishes at the comfort of everyone’s home. At the onset of 10 year celebration, the team offers new quick cook sauces and ready to eat snacks that includes Chilli Garlic Oil, Maung’s Garlic Paste, Malar Stir Fry Sauce & Raw Mango flavoured Lotus Stem Chips.
