There’s something about a wooden texture that affects relaxation. Maybe because it’s a natural material and brings us back to a calm natural state, or perhaps it’s because the brown hues are soothing in and of themselves. Either way, Swoon Studios was inspired by beech wood and implemented the texture and material into the product design and the packaging details for Imbued’s body products. The result is a line that looks and feels like spa-quality products and is sure to make any bathroom countertop an instant spot of relaxation.

Imbued creates a variety of products from body scrubs & bath salts to natural hair products and oils. Imbued reached out looking for a new packaging design for their new body butter line, and was looking to create a ‘spa feel’ for their new product packaging. Bamboo and wooden textures are often used in spas to create a relaxing and zen atmosphere, so we decided to incorporate similar textures into their packaging. We chose a dark beech wood as the material for the lid, and included a subtle dark cherry wood texture into the design of the label.
