Editorial Plague recently launched their deck of playing cards Culture Cards Transformers (Ho Chi Minh Edition) on Kickstarter. The designer playing card deck features Vietnamese love story in 54 acts with a very minimalist and ambidextrous approach.

"Transformers, a full-suite playing card deck, is a Vietnamese love story told in 54 acts (cards). It was inspired by a man’s undying love for his country. Ho Chi Minh is celebrated as the father of modern-day Vietnam because of the great lengths he went to achieve his vision for an independent, unified country. Despite decades spent at war, Vietnam is finally at the cusp of true economic development. This collection celebrates the resulting cultural transformations taking place nearly 40 years after Ho Chi Minh’s vision was realized. This limited edition deck features Vietnamese art, history, and cuisine.

Culture Card decks incorporate both minimalist and ambidextrous design (functional for left and right-handed people). The Playing Deck contains 54 cards and includes a companion editorial. This collectible designer deck is printed on 350 gsm matte finish linen card stock, housed in a heavyweight tuck box. Sourced from the world, made in New York."
