The DTC line for Montreal dining institution Au Pied de Cochon got an endearing, stylish rebrand from Sid Lee, grounded in an earthy color palette, no-nonsense jars, and a pigtailed logomark with a bubbly midcentury serif.
The brand’s titular pig is illustrated in a wide variety of fun costumes and situations that fit each of its flavors, like hiding in a strawberry bush for a fruity cider or relaxing with cucumbers on his eyes for their zucchini relish. The stylish design and cheeky illustrations make the products look both fun and sophisticated: a “best of both worlds” situation for those of us who don’t want to grow up too much.
