We don’t know why, but Indian spice design is really on a roll lately. Designers are giving the kitchen mainstays plenty of personality, with vibrant color palettes, eclectic typography, and all the shiny panache of a Bollywood musical number.

The latest example comes courtesy of Red Dot Studio’s exciting redesign for UK spice brand Aagrah. This system takes inspiration from old Indian stamps, lining up with another very current trend of branding that takes on the look of mail, packages, and well-worn passports. Aagrah’s spices and sauces all come with a fun stamp border, a cute variable elephant mascot, and vibrant symbols surrounding his adventures.
