A red wine aperitivo spritz like Roro is what you reach for when you want something a little more interesting than a standard sparkling wine. Something light and easy. Something with the juicy depth of red wine, the refreshing lift of bubbles, and a bitterness that makes your mouth water. It’s a drink built for golden hour, pre-dinner chit chats, and nights that start casually but definitely don’t end that way.

Swear Words’ packaging design for Roro’s aperitivo looks like it’s ready for a night out, but doesn’t lose the lightness of what’s inside. The bright red label captures that energy while the name Roro bubbles with personality as the typography dances across the label in an intentionally uneven way. The font is still highly legible through the chunky choice, plus, the overall composition is strengthened by the paper’s subtle texture and the label’s rounded corners.

Then there’s the closure. The top of the cork’s outer packaging is capped in aluminum, embossed with a tiny disco ball.
The design is simple, but there’s magic in the details. There’s always magic in the details.

Most importantly, the design channels the approachable charm of Lambrusco without leaning towards childishness. There’s rhythm and playfulness everywhere, but none of it feels young or immature, just effortlessly easy, with the lights low, the music loud, and the gossip a’plenty. And nothing is more fun than an aperitivo with a side of gossip.
