Naked is a brand of smoothies and juices with a history dating back to 1983, when its founders Jimmy Rosenberg and David Bleeden began selling their beverages to Santa Monica beachgoers from ice-filled backpacks. They named their brand “Naked” because of their affinity for sunbathing in the nude and because the product contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives.
Which, as far as brand naming goes, is a pretty wild story.
