Ugly Duck Wine Comes in an Outdoor-Safe Paper Bottle

Summertime is loaded with plenty of grilling outdoors and eating, and while wine is often the perfect accompaniment to hanging out and dining under summer skies, the typical glass bottle can cause an early end to festivities if it breaks and the resulting bits end up all over the ground. In some cases, glass isn’t allowed at some parks and beaches for this very reason.

Canadian-based Magnotta Wineries has announced a new line of red and white blends called “Ugly Duck.” The new wines were created with outdoor consumption in mind and pair well with dishes commonly enjoyed outside in the summer, like smoked salmon and grilled steak.

But it’s also not your typical bottle of vino.
