It seems that the yearly Starbucks cups have become as much a part of the holiday tradition as Christmas music on the radio, festive decorations, and eggnog. Marking the arrival of the holidays since 1997, the Starbucks holiday cups have arrived, as have beverage faves like Chestnut Praline Latte, Caramel Brulée Latte and Peppermint Mocha. Time to don the sweater and gloves, make your way to the nearest Sbux, and celebrate the season!
This year’s cup is the first color-in cup—that’s right, you, the consumer can make your very own unique holiday cup. The cup features a pair of hands holding red cups of coffee (a nod to designs in past years) connected with holiday scenes and a simple red and green color palette. Jordan Kay from Starbucks Creative Studio illustrated this year’s holiday cup design.
