The fast-food giant McDonalds has brought a clever design for transporting your burger, fries and drink on your fixie! A concept for now, designed by global agency Tribal. The idea was to target those looking to take their fast-food on the go and specific to cyclists. A simple box design that hooks onto a bicycle’s handlebars. When opened it unfolds reveling two pockets where the burger and fries stay rested in place.
I’m curious to see how the structure will do under bumps in the road and the non-perfect streets of Los Angeles and New York. A wonderful idea and concept that is simple and brings resolution and availability for those looking to transport their food.
Another update is that the structure and idea has already been seen and done by Master’s student Seulbi Kim from Rhode Island School of Design.
