Kyiv Dessert Shop Honey’s Abstract Design Adds a High-Art Sheen to Their Impressive Treats

There’s no argument that food isn’t an artform, and maybe even one of the most potent, considering it helps us survive. It makes sense that people not only want their food to taste good and be healthy, but to be a beautiful sensory experience of its own.

Kyiv’s impressive sweet shop Honey taps into the fine art of food with tasteful abstract design from ISD Group and Vika Vita. There’s almost a gallery feel to funky illustrations whose subjects seem straightforward enough at first—“plum,” “cheesecake,” and “lychee” make appearances, but so do “Californication,” “December,” and “Strength.” The colorful corresponding shapes come together on their hip, but unpretentious boxes and bottles, crowned with a carefree, sleekly handwritten logomark.
