Humans have always been obsessed with the sun to some degree or another, but this past year or so has felt especially dense with sun imagery. While Studio Pros Design doesn’t point to any inspiration in particular for a recent design for 1% Bakery, the end result seems markedly solar.
Sunny yellow is the central motif of the packaging, and each circular shape on the box could be read as a different way of looking at the sun—head on, a little blurry, or shining through blinds. It’s all very organized and symmetrical with easygoing sans serif, letting the cool, sunny shapes take center stage.
