Studio MPLS Brings A Taste Of Lake Life To Branding For Happy Ending

Published

The Happy Ending, a cocktail made with vodka, citrus (usually grapefruit), and a touch of bitters, originated in the early 80s. Created by Bill Gage Jr., the libation was such a hit that when he left his home state of Wisconsin to study in Vermont, his creation would propel him to the role of social chair at his fraternity.

Bill Gage eventually returned to Lake Geneva and joined the family business, which included boat building and sales, running a pier, and, eventually, a restaurant.
