Jason Foster, founder of Replenish, was ironing his shirts one day when he realized that a large, clunky, disposable bottle of ironing spray was 90% water and less than 10% actual ingredients. In fact, Foster realized this was true for almost all the household products we buy. This means we are creating tremendous amounts of waste by shipping water we already have in our homes in plastic bottles we don’t need.
Foster envisioned a simple design that would turn a disposable bottle into a reusable tool for good, capable of eliminating waste and saving money. When it was time to scale up from initial pilot molds, his team worked with R&D/Leverage for its injection mold building expertise.
