Traditionally, the First Lady of the United States leads in campaigning for social issues they’re most passionate about. Ironically, Melania Trump took on the cause of cyberbullying, for example. Her predecessor, Michelle Obama, had several initiatives as First Lady, including reducing childhood obesity through programs like “Let’s Move!”

Getting Americans to slim down by eating right and exercising, including the younglings, is an ambitious task, even with a solid assist from Queen Bey herself. The results of the Let’s Move! campaign seems to be mixed, with the overall childhood obesity remaining steadfast, even after five years of promoting the initiative.

Nonetheless, Mrs. Obama is still out here in 2023 trying to instill healthy habits in kids so they avoid obesity and all its negative consequences. As a private citizen, Michelle co-founded a new better-for-you brand for children called PLEZi Nutrition.
