Liebre Mexican Sauces, a creation by renowned chefs Julio & Kate, draws its culinary inspiration from the Michelin Bib Gourmand Awarded restaurant Fonda Balam. The packaging design, masterfully crafted by Heavy Machinery, pays tribute to the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. The labels feature stunning typography, drawing from the robust hand-painted signs adorning city streets and an intricate rabbit illustration that adds a touch of whimsy and charm. The color palette of each of the products harmonizes perfectly with the sauces’ vibrant hues, creating a visually appealing and culturally rich packaging that reflects the essence of true Mexican flavors. Inspired by Toltec temple architecture, the geometric elements on the labels provide a sense of depth and heritage, encapsulating the heart of Mexico in every bottle. The packaging design is engaging and artful, easily making an impact in the crowded sauce market.

Liebre is a product line conceptualized by a husband and wife couple Julio & Kate who are the chefs behind MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Awarded restaurant Fonda Balam. The product line is authentic to true Mexican recipes created in the kitchen of the restaurant and bottled for home consumption. To pay homage to the authenticity of the product, the design direction was inspired by the rich cultures of Mexico. The architecture of the Toltec temples helped form the geometry of the labels; the stacked and stretched typography drew inspiration from the robust hand painted signs splattered across the city streets.
