F1’s global cultural moment is driving some of the most engineered collector objects the drinks world has ever seen, and the McLaren x Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 by Hunter Luxury is a work of art of its own. The outer structure is a direct translation of Formula 1’s Halo cockpit protection device, built from over 50 custom components across 8 materials and 8 manufacturing processes, with a carbon fiber textured frame. Plus, McLaren’s signature Papaya orange accent is visible, giving it a little extra boost of luxury.
The push-button release mechanism, hidden beneath the McLaren branding at the bottom, suspends the bottle with a single press. It’s magic, really.
Spirit collaborations often amount to a logo on a label, but Halo MK1 is an industrial design object in which every material choice, mechanism, and surface finish tells the same story of speed, protection, and precision.
