Hopkind Brings a Sixer of NA Beer To the Functional Beverage Rager

  • Hopkind is a new non-alcoholic beer brewed with postbiotics, hydration, and recovery ingredients.
  • Branding and packaging by Osvald Landmark steer away from beer conventions and emphasize Hopkind’s functional qualities.

It was only a matter of time before the trends in non-alcoholic beer and gut-friendly sodas finally collided like a nuclear fusion reaction, forming an entirely new brand. The result is Hopkind, a postbiotic non-alcoholic “beer with benefits” that promises flavor, better gut health, and hydration. They’ve even added Senactiv and L-Citrulline for hydration and recovery.

Hopkind’s branding and packaging design, by Osvald Landmark, is also a departure from conventional brewskis. The Hopkind range includes an IPA and a lager; both use similar designs, differentiated by green for the IPA and orange for the lager. The color choices seemingly represent the hop-heavy flavor of IPAs, with green and orange for the crisper lager flavor. The labels, however, have simple silver-colored backgrounds, evocative of clarity and cleanliness. Hopkind’s logo is a vine-like graphic that feels organic, fluid, and ordered, placed on the front of the packaging.
