French fries are a fast-food staple, and theyobviously go great with ketchup, but figuring out how to dip with sauce packets has remained a persistent problem. Dumping ketchup on top of the fries means the first ones will be drenched, while the bottom potato morsels will be dry. Squeezing a bit onto each fry is laborious, and if eating in the car, it can be messy.
Ketchup experts at Heinz have cooked up a new design for the fry box, which includes a small dipping compartment in the brand’s signature keystone that visually resembles a Heinz ketchup label. Dubbing it the “Heinz Dipper,” the ketchup compartment flips open, and eaters simply pour their sauce into it.
