G’ME is a bold new lip balm brand from the UK that’s naturally made inside and out – created in late 2022 and launching early 2023. Its distinct octagonal shape is made from bioplastic packaging using canola seeds, which reduces the use of fossil fuels through renewable resources while cutting use of bad plastics and materials.

So how does that happen? First, the canola seeds are harvested and crushed, yielding high-quality oil. The byproducts from this process are then used for fertiliser and livestock feed. The soil bacteria makes PHA in a controlled fermentation environment – the 100% biodegradable result is then made after separation, purification and drying. Additionally, the ink used for colourants and pad printing are made from bio-colourants.
