Day Job’s Loisa Brand Refresh Is Muy Sabrosa

Loisa is a pantry foods brand borne out of a desire to recreate Latin Caribbean staples like sofrito, sàzon, and adobo seasonings, essential herbs like bay leaves, cumin, oregano, annatto, and garlic powder, and even kitchenware like tostones used to flatten plantain slices.

Co-founders Scott Hattis and Kenny Luna have always wanted to bring authentic and vibrant Latin flavors to the dinner table. Still, they also wanted to avoid artificial ingredients that are so prevalent in the category, and they’ve stuck the landing since 2017. However, ahead of launching its new rice and bean meal kits, Loisa felt it was time for a brand refresh, so it reached out to design agency Day Job
