The experts at Pantone annually choose a color of the year, and even beyond the insular world of designers and branding folks, it sparks plenty of discussion. Deep down, we’re all color freaks, and we all love talking about it, even if we disagree with whatever shade Pantone lands on every year.

I’m not going to bury the lede. Pantone’s color of the year for 2025 is “Mocha Mousse” (17-1230).
