The future of wine is here, and it’s boxed.

And while we’re prepared for some pushback, the hate is often rooted in aesthetics and mindset and less about the taste of the wine itself. And that it’s “cheap” and not that great (we’re looking at you, Franzia). Contrary to popular belief, wine doesn’t have to be packaged in glass bottles to have the best-tasting notes, the crispest acidity, or a hearty aroma.

But we’re also witnessing a rise in boxed wine with gorgeous design aesthetics. Sure, that’s nothing new—even for boxed alcoholic grape juice—but there are plenty of new players entering the category.
