Show Off Those Stems In The Winter With Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy Heated Shorts

Published

Some folks just aren’t cut out for full-length pants. Many of them live in warmer environs like California or Florida, but some of these shorts-all-day-every-day individuals brave the snow and bitter winter wind with calves unsheathed for all the world to see.

Beer brand Leinenkugel’s latest offering is designed for those iconoclasts looking to make their questionable fashion choice a little easier with heated shorts.

The drawstring half-pants found inspiration in Leinenkugel’s seasonal Summer Shandy, a traditional weiss blended with natural lemonade flavor. A pattern of lemon slices and the brand’s wordmark adorns the pale blue short pants, with a Summer Shandy tag on one leg and back pocket, along with a hip-mounted beer bottle holster. Inside, a USB-rechargeable heating element keeps the wearers’ thighs warm and is adjustable via soft-touch controls.

Heated shorts are just the latest stunt promotion for Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. Last year the brand took the common typo “Summer Shanty” and turned it into a $50,000, decked out Summer Shandy Ice Shanty, which Leienenkugel gave away to one lucky fan.

Summer Shandy heated shorts were available at Leinenkugel’s merch site for $55 but sold out quickly. Chads that missed out will have to find another way to stay warm while rocking shorts in the winter.
