Nearly 450 Craft Brewers Collaborate On ‘All Together’ Brew To Help Restaurant Workers

Published

While some of us are fortunate enough to be able to work from home, some jobs are undoable remotely, like serving cocktails and food. Sure, takeout and delivery is still an option for some of the sequestered, voluntarily and otherwise, but that still means most restaurant workers are out-of-work due to COVID-19 for the foreseeable future. The impact isn’t just felt by the front-of-house, as the decreased business is forcing restaurants to trim back-of-house staff, and without patrons, that means no ordering, disrupting an entire supply chain of wholesalers and suppliers.

The decreased sales act as a series of economic dominos, as ancillary businesses start to feel the weight of the cascading tiles on their back. New York craft brewer Other Half, seeing the devastating and immediate effect COVID-19 has had on the hospitality industry, has started a worldwide beer collaboration called “All Together,” with proceeds supporting Restaurant Workers Community Foundation.
