Baily Brew Only Has Eyes For Bondi

If you’re unfamiliar, Bondi Beach is a stretch of stunning beach located in Sydney, Australia. The name Bondi comes from the Aboriginal word that means “water breaking over rocks” or alternately “noise of water breaking over rocks.” It’s natural that such a stunning location would inspire people to want to share Bondi’s glory, and that is exactly what Baily Brew is striving to do with a cold one.
Baily Brew was born in Bondi back in 2012. From humble beginnings of selling hand crafted glasses at the local markets (something the brand still does today) they’ve expanded with over 60 stores in 4 countries.
Despite the expansion, Baily Brew has never lost their love for Bondi or our love for the hand crafted. Bondi is at the heart of the brand, and they wear their Australian roots on their sleeve. The resulting can is a striking pale mint green with minimalist san-serif font that make the brew stand out in a line-up.
“Our mate Paul Parks makes craft beer from his micro brewery right where it all began for us on Ben Buckler in Bondi. Ben Buckler Brewery shares our origins and our passion for craft, they were the perfect partner to create something extra special (and extra pale) for our biggest year yet,” said Baily Brew Creative Director Ed Hall.
With the brand celebrating a lot in 2018, with the opening of their 10th Canadian store and their 40th in Australia and New Zealand, they wanted to craft something special.
“Ben Buckler Brewery helped us create Bailey Brew, an Australian Extra Pale Ale that would be distributed to our boutiques across the world. The beer was be served at store events, marketing activations and impromptu parties between teams and customers alike. It was our way of raising a glass to where we're heading, and celebrating where we've come from.”
The Pale Ale is a far departure from what Baily is typically know for: eyewear. But crack one open and see just how much it aligns with their mantra: “Look Different.” Cheers.
