Sober-Curious Fans of ’80s Pop Art Will Love Begin Zero’s Funky Mocktails

Teetotalers stay winning with the rapidly expanding selection of intriguing canned mocktails popping up. One such option comes from Brazil’s Begin, whose non-alcoholic “Zero” line got a stylish system courtesy of MELT Design.

The whole thing has a funky late 20th century modern art look to it, with swirly, abstract designs on the can that wouldn’t look out of place at a MoMA exhibit. Like most of today’s packaging, it switches freely between serif and sans, grounded with a slim yet chunky logo. The promo photos help the design shine with cool backgrounds styled in the simultaneously on-trend and timeless Memphis aesthetic, surrounding the cans with ebullient bubbles that mimic the first sip of a cold one.
