Dinner Drug Wants to Be Your Olive Oil Dealer

A foodie who pays attention to the news might remember a story about olive oil that went viral back in 2016— turns out a lot of it is contraband! The report found that thanks to mob involvement in the olive trade, 80% of this culinary elixir of life is watered down, fake, or definitely not actually Extra Virgin. This, of course, makes it harder for the fiends of us to find our fix, but the team behind the Cretan olive oil brand Dinner Drug hear us loud and clear, and they’ve got the good stuff.

Giovanni Stillittano channeled the druggy, debaucherous ’80s in his packaging, with bubbly typography that switches between elegantly wasted cursive to a more serious, old-fashioned serif. A warm, nostalgic color palette makes the sunny orange text pop against forest green like the pit in an olive.
