Not all breakfast cereal is vegan.
That might seem odd, considering it’s mostly grain and sugar, but some common non-vegan ingredients include gelatin, which finds its way into frosted cereals now and again. Other ingredients that aren’t vegan include honey and vitamin B3, made from lanolin, and sometimes vitamin E, which can also get made from animal sources.
Mouth Off, a new brand of cereal from Kellogg’s, is plant-based, has zero grams of sugar, and is packed with 22g of protein per serving. Additionally, they will launch with two flavors, Chocolate and Fruity.
