Personal assistants powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) once existed as mere concepts manifested in science fiction. But in 2021, technology has enabled these digital aides to proliferate in everything from mobile phones, customer service chats on websites, and home speakers. Developers of the AI assistants usually imbue a bit of personality to their software, including giving them human names such as Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa, or Samsung’s Bixby.

But the latest smartphone secretary is the first to be based on a burger chain mascot.
