Bags are currently the packaging status quo for coffee beans, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end-all-be-all design. Zack Samuel recently launched grounds, 100% traceable, fair trade, & smallholder grown coffee, and the beans are packaged in a recyclable can. The design is clever, making me feel like I now have an aversion to bagged beans, mostly because I’m fully aware that a working alternative exists.
