Can a cookie be sexy?
There’s nothing more desirable than a freshly baked, ooey-gooey warm cookie, but when it comes to a boxed brand, I’m not sure I’d describe it as “sexy.” Still, Togo is an Italian cookie brand that became a household name in Italy thanks to its seductive advertisements in the 90s. Of course, Togo was hardly alone, as brands have tried equating dessert with When Harry Met Sally-ish tropes so that we could all have a little of what Meg Ryan was having.
So, no, a boxed cookie might not be desirable. But it is all about marketing.
