Southern Star Brewing Co.’s Limited Release Takes On Surrealism

5+8 designed the packaging for Southern Star’s limited Night & Day release. The surrealist aesthetic includes mushrooms and a sun and moon caricature with psychedelic-inspired typography—the light cream background pairs beautifully with the orange secondary tones, perfectly allowing the illustrations to shine.

Night & Day IPA can design takes inspiration from the iconic 60’s screenprint posters, infusing the beer with a psychedelic and whimsical vibe. Southern Star’s limited release is a Texas gem that stands out with its dreamy and surreal design, featuring a color palette that perfectly complements the vibrant and ethereal artwork.
