Large macro breweries have long offered beers with even lower alcohol by volume (ABV) than conventional light lagers, often positioning these brews as lower calorie.
One such beer is Miller64, a light lager with only 64 calories thanks to its 2.8% ABV. By comparison, Miller Lite has an ABV of 4.2% and 96 total calories.
Amidst the recent shift among consumers toward lower-alcohol options, Miller has rebranded Miller64 as Miller Extra Light. The brand refresh from Soulsight repositions Miller’s low-cal brew as a low-ABV option for drinkers looking to lower alcohol consumption without going totally sober.
