Ice Cream maker Ben & Jerry’s newest ReMix’d flavor not only brings together a mix of delicious dessert goodness but also brings attention and support for criminal justice reform.

“Justice ReMix’d” combines cinnamon and chocolate ice creams with gobs of cinnamon bun dough and spicy fudge brownie pieces with a “sweet swirl of justice under the lid.”

Ben & Jerry’s devised the flavor in partnership with the Advancement’s Project National Office, a multi-racial civil rights organization that works with local grassroots groups on issues of racial justice reform. The ice cream company is a longtime advocate of social causes, including reforming a criminal justice system they see as broken and embedded with structural racism that favors the white and wealthy.
