GOZO Is Further Proof That the Olive Oil Packaging Game Has Changed

GOZO’s packaging, designed by Vanesa García, rethinks how olive oil can be presented, focusing on innovation and functionality in a market filled with the same, repetitive options: glass and plastic.

The ceramic packaging stands out with its sculptural design, combining utility and aesthetic appeal to elevate the cooking experience and your kitchen countertops. Also, the minimal yet impactful design, paired with the embossed branding, creates an identity system that turns the packaging into more of a display piece.

Below, Garcia gave us some insight into the design.

Any ideas what the hook/tongue on the side is used for? My guess was a finger hold while pouring, but no pics show it in use. Interesting decoration I’d expect is going to be broken more often than not. Colors and glazing of the lineup are beautiful though.
