Firma designed Machu Picchu Energy drinks first by understanding what the brand wasn’t. It’s not a brand built on masculine energy, aggressive attitudes, or extreme sports. It is, however, a beverage that works to inspire consumers to connect with the greater outdoors.
The packaging design reflects this attitude by implementing rich green shades with vibrantly hued accents. Furthermore, the typography and illustrations play off each other, contrasting modern type design with Machu Picchu’s fascinating historical identity. Overall, the packaging is exquisitely eccentric while still beautifully balanced.
