Corona Adds a Non-Alcoholic Beer To Its Lineup For Cinco Without The Drinko

To serve the steadily growing number of sober-curious consumers, many large brewers have developed non-alcoholic versions of their flagship beers, such as Heineken, Budweiser, and Guinness. Mexican beer brand Corona is the newest, introducing Corona Non-Alcoholic, which promises the same flavor as Corona Extra but with only 0.5% Alcohol By Volume (ABV).

The packaging for Corona Non-Alcoholic takes a few cues from the full ABV Extra. The bottle design is similar and features signature Corona brand elements such as the crown, wordmark, and a pair of griffins. However, the dark blue gets swapped out for a pleasant, lighter version, and instead of a solid background, the circle on the front of the label emanates beams of light. Bottle caps are also the same light blue color.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Corona Non-Alcoholic to our beloved family of brands and offer a new way to live ‘La Vida Más Fina’ that doesn’t sacrifice taste,” Alex Schultz, VP of brand marketing for Corona, said in a press release. “This innovation embraces the broadened mindset of our consumers and ensures that we have the perfect beer, no matter the occasion.”
