Cup Noodles Breakfast Ramen Is The New Breakfast Of Champions

One might not immediately think of instant ramen as a breakfast food, but who among us hasn’t reached for a cup of noodles in the morning?

Until now, instant ramen options have been lacking in traditional breakfast flavors like scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, and maple syrup. But not more, monsters! Nissin Foods, the original instant ramen innovator, has announced Cup Noodles Breakfast.

The limited-edition Cup Noodle flavor features eggs, breakfast sausage, maple syrup, and pancakes. There aren’t real bits of any of those breakfast staples; the Cup Noodle comes artificially flavored, as indicated on the front of the cup. The cup features delightful and enticing illustrations of breakfast foods against a pleasing, light blue background.

“We know our products are a go-to meal any time of the day,” said Priscila Stanton, SVP of marketing, Nissin Foods USA, in apress release. “Saucy, soup-based, spicy, sweet or savory, we even added rice to some [noodles], so by adding Cup Noodles Breakfast to our line-up, we are truly feeding cravings around the clock — morning, noon, night or late night.”

Of course, Nissin is no stranger to unexpected flavors, like Pumpkin Spice Cup Noodles. Those ready for a breakfast-flavored Cup Noodles can pick them up now, exclusively at Walmart. Sadly, you won’t be able to wash it down with a cold can of Pepsi Maple Syrup.
