Pereja Cologne Gets A Modern Makeover

Pereja is a century-old brand and an important symbol in Turkey’s traditional cologne culture. In Turkey, you always welcome your guest with pouring lemon cologne to their hands.

We were asked to modernize the brand perception of Pereja while staying loyal to its visual image. The brand is well known with its hexagonal logo. We designed a square-bottomed glass bottle with raised lines on the surface. We designed a copper cap that complements the bottle form and that reflects the modernization of the brand. We simplified the new logo while keeping the old hexagon form and created a label area as a raised hexagon in order to stay loyal to brands visual legacy. We used navy blue and copper for the label and box designs to add the well-deserved established and trustable perception to the brand.

Modernization of the cultural elements is not an easy task. However, if a strong bridge is built between the past and the future, it is well accepted by the society. Pereja cologne bottle will help the cologne culture to be carried among the young generations.
